Writam Banerjee is presently working as Principal Engineer at GlobalFoundries, Germany since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as Research Professor at Department of Material Science and Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. From 2014 to 2018, he worked as assistant professor of Institute of Microelectronics of Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China. From 2012-2013, he held the position of visiting Scientist at PGI-7, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Germany.

Dr. Banerjee received Ph.D degree in electronic engineering from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, in 2012. Prior to that, he graduated from Vidyasagar University, India, with M.Sc and B.Sc degrees in Physics.
