About
Dr. Pranati Rakshit is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, West Bengal, India. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She has completed her Ph.D. degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal, in the field of Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Medical image analysis. She has completed her Master degree and B.E. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering. She has worked in the field of Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Medical image analysis, Data Mining, image Processing, IOT etc. She has supervised more than 20 M.Tech Projects and presently supervising 1 Ph.D. student. She has 52 numbers of research publications in International journals and conferences including SCI and Scopus indexing. She has 13 patents in her account. She is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education.
