About
Dr. Mukesh Singh Sikarwar is currently working as Professor and Deputy Director in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Madhya Pradesh. He has more than 18 years of teaching and mentoring experience in Academia. He has served as organizing secretary for Falling Walls Lab in Malaysia, 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016 hosted in AIMST University. He was invited in 1st Stakeholder Engagement Workshop on the Malaysian Science Communication Module by Young Scientists Network-ASM on 18th April 2019 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He was invited as Keynote speaker and Co- Chair 2nd Global Summit on Herbals & Natural Remedies October 17-19, 2016 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was invited as plenary speaker at University of West Indies and participation was fully sponsored by organizers. Dr. Sikarwar selected as finalist of Falling Walls young innovator of the year 2015 at Berlin, Germany, and participation was fully sponsored by falling walls foundation Germany and its partners. He was selected to present research in Innovation challenge at Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia, MOSTI. He has developed modules & designing templates for outcome based education system in AIMST University, Malaysia. He has developed mobile app as new learning tool for Pharmacognosy course and published capsule learning on Ayurveda and Pharmacognosy course in his youtube channel.
He received his PhD in Pharmacy from K.L.E. University, Belgaum India in year 2011. His current area of research is herbal antioxidants, antidiabetics and antihyperlipidemics, novel drug delivery in herbal drugs, formulation and evaluation of herbal drugs and food safety. He has more than 15 year of experience in mentoring students in Pharmacognosy and chemistry subjects. He has supervised 11 undergraduate research projects with significant outcome on investigation of plant pharmacognostic profiles and its antioxidant activities. He has published 66 research and review papers in various peer reviewed internationals and national journals and also serving as reviewer for many international journals. He has h-index of 18 and i10-index of 26 (https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?user=2yDybXgAAAAJ). He has presented 29 research papers in various national and international conferences. He has attended many MOOC courses and Online CME from online learning programmers. He is the academic editor in PLOS ONE , executive guest editor (Thematic Issue), Coronaviruses journal of Bentham Science, Editorial board member of Pharmacognosy Reviews journal, a life member of APTI, member of Asian Council of Science Editors and registered as pharmacist with M. P. State Pharmacy Council, India.
