Anuj Sharma, Ph.D., is a Staff Scientist in Leifer lab at Department of Physics, Princeton University. He obtained a Master Degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India and earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India in 2009 under the guidance of Professor Uttam K. Pati. He cleared CSIR-UGC-JRF fellowship exam and secured his own JRF/SRF fellowship for Ph.D. program. He then worked at Cornell University with Prof. Olena Vatamaniuk on a NSF funded project and at University of Maryland with Dr. Byung-Eun Kim as a Postdoctoral Associate before joining Princeton as an expert in worm molecular-genetics.
