About
I am Dr. Neha Parashar, currently working as Director, Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, Pune. I have been awarded the Most Influential Women in Academics 2020 by Education Ninja and Academy of Management Professionals (AMP), Hyderabad, Indira Parikh 50 Women in Education Leaders award, and 100 Most Dedicated Professor award for two consecutive years by World Education Congress. I have been a certified resource person for Financial Education from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), a SEBI initiative. I have done her Ph.D. in 2008 in finance and was a gold medalist student during her MBA and M.Com. Participated in the Faculty Development Programme organized at IIM, Ahmedabad. I have 17 plus years of rich academic experience with premier management universities like Symbiosis University, Pune, Nirma University and Amity Global Business School, Ahmedabad, etc.
I am leading a Finance and Economics Club on campus under which the club has organized several activities from Financial Literacy to trading workshops. I have authored a book named “Mutual Fund and Investors". I have also written and presented several papers at national and international conferences and organized several research conferences both on a national level and international level. My area of interest is financial services, security analysis, banking, wealth management, financial management, portfolio management, accounting for managers, etc. I have contributed a lot towards student placements and institutional development.
