About
I am a highly accomplished researcher and educator in the field of glaciology with a specialization in glacier meltwater chemistry. With a diverse educational background and extensive research experience, I have made significant contributions to understanding glacial processes and their impacts on the environment. I completed my Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Sharda University in Greater Noida in 2020. Before Ph.D., I pursued a Master of Science by Research in Glaciology from Kathmandu University in Nepal in 2016. This research-oriented degree further strengthened my field expertise and provided a comprehensive understanding of glacial processes and their significance in the Himalayan region. In 2013, I completed my Master of Science degree from Pondicherry University in Puducherry. Before that, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Water Management from A. N College, affiliated with Magadh University, in 2011.
In terms of research experience, I have been working as a Research Associate at the Central University of Rajasthan since August 2021. In this capacity, I continue contributing to cutting-edge glaciology research and mentor graduate students. Before my current position, I work for as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Sharda University in Greater Noida from August 2017 to June 2020. I was pivotal in several research projects on glacial processes and climate change during this time. Before their SRF position, they worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Sharda University from July 2016 to July 2017, where they actively contributed to ongoing research initiatives.
