About
Dr Debarshi Ghosh, PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering, is currently a postdoctoral fellow in computational biology/biophysics at Long Island University, Brooklyn, with over six years of research experience in computational modelling of biomedical phenomena, digital medicine, drug delivery, and AI-driven healthcare diagnostics. His work spans multiscale virtual twin modelling of acetaminophen-induced liver injury, mechanistic agent-based modelling of oligodendroglioma immune–tumor dynamics, electroporation-based drug delivery, non-invasive insulin delivery systems, biomedical sensors, and machine-learning approaches for disease detection.
He earned his PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Chitkara University, where his research focused on computational, physical, and electrical analysis of electroporation. His research contributions include peer-reviewed publications in digital medicine, pharmacology, mathematical modelling, sensing, and biomedical engineering, along with multiple filed Indian patents and several national and international innovation awards. His technical expertise includes COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, Python, PyTorch, Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations, machine learning, biomedical instrumentation, and computational systems biology.
