About
The research of Jhuma Ganguly deals with the synthesis, biology and sustainable uses of carbohydrates-hydrogels. The group has contributed in the development of sugar-hydrogel and fluorescent sugar- hydrogels and amphiphiles in waste water treatment, adsorption/desorption of Arsenic, Sensing, Cell imaging, and drug delivery. Also, she has significantly investigated the Structural characterization of oligosaccharides from lipopolysaccharides, bamboo, desert algae, fungi and medicinal plants. She has also involved in Biofuel and Carbon capture-based research.
