About

He is Associate Professor, Institute of Health Management Research, IIHMR University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He has around twenty-one years of teaching, training & research experience in operations management. His teaching areas include Operations Management in Hospitals, Operations Research, Production Management, Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare, Quantitative techniques & Statistics for Managerial Decision. At IIHMR University, Jaipur he has conducted several trainings on Healthcare Operations Management/Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare. He has trained many participants which included senior hospital/health professionals, quality mangers, NHM officials, medical superintendents, doctors, hospital managers, administrative officers, NGO professionals, hospital/health consultants, MPH/MHA students, from India, including International Participants from Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, UNFPA participants from Southeast Asian Countries, Nigeria (Africa) etc. He has received excellent teaching/training/research feedback.

He received Star Performer Award by the President, IIHMR University, Jaipur (2018), Best (95% positive) Faculty Feedback - Amity Univ., Raj., IILM, and all Institutes, has been topper in MMS at MNIT, Jaipur, topper in BE, Merit cum Means Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India in B.E., and topper in CBSE Board Exam.

He has six Phd scholars registered at IIHMR University, Jaipur. He supervised work of Dr. Sharda Narwal, Study of Patient Safety Culture and Practices in District Hospitals of Haryana, India (2018-21), PhD Degree Awarded in 2021, IIHMR University, Jaipur. Other work being supervised include Work Life Balance Among Medical Doctors- A Study on Nepalese Medical Doctors Practicing in Teaching Hospitals of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, (2019 – Pursuing), by Ms. Kabita Khanal, NEPAL, Quality of Maternal Health services and their Utilization, (2019 – PhD Pursuing) by Ms. Anju Verma, Dr. Utplakshi Kaushik, IIHMR University, Jaipur. (PhD pursuing), Dr. Reema Chahal, IIHMR University, Jaipur. (PhD pursuing), Dr. Zubeda Hasan, IIHMR University, Jaipur. (pursuing), Dr. Deepak Goyle, IIHMR University, Jaipur. (PhD pursuing).

He conducted several ONLINE Trainings at IIHMR University, Jaipur which included Analytics and Decision Support in Health Care Operations Management, October 21 - 24, 2021, Quantitative Methods in Healthcare Management, Aug 27-29, 2021, Healthcare Operations Management - Techniques and Applications, June 24 - June 27, 2021, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) in healthcare, May 28-30, 2021, Quantitative Decision-Making Methods in Health Care Management, March 19-21, 2021, Analytics and Decision Support in Health Care Operations Management, November 27-29, Healthcare Operations Management –Techniques & Applications, October 12-17, 2020. There were more than 200 particpiatnts in these trainings.

He conducted Campus Besed (Offline) Management Development Programs at IIHMR University, Jaipur, which included MDPs on Operations Management for Senior Hospital and Health Managers, Feb 4-6, 2019, Operations Management in Hospitals, scheduled between 16th – 18th November, 2018. In this training there were 15 participants in the programme, including 11 foreign participants from NEPAL. He conducted MDP on Healthcare Operations Management-Techniques & Applications, scheduled between Dec. 1-3, 2017, Healthcare Operations Management-Techniques & Applications, scheduled between 19th – 21st December, 2016, Healthcare Operations Management-Techniques & Applications - 15th – 19th March, 2016, Operations Management Techniques & Applications in Healthcare Management, 10th – 14th August, 2015, Healthcare Operations Management: Techniques & Applications” was organized at IIHMR University, Jaipur between 17th -21st March, 2015. There were 15 participants in the programme. & Health Care Operations Management, March 10-14th, 2014. Participants from Nigeria and India participated in the programme. There were more than 100 particpiatnts in these trainings. He recived Excellent Feedback of the Participants.

He has 3 books published one on Research Methods in Management in 2008, another on Computer Applications in Management in 2007, and on Indian Ethos & Values in 2006 by Shivam Book House Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur, Raj.

Apart from above he has been involved in many institution buiding activities which included organized many guest lectures, field visits, District Drug Warehouses (DDW I and DDW II), Community Health Center (CHCs), Production facilities, filed visits, Placements leads & Organizing committee member of many International Confereneces.

Prior to joining to IIHMR University, he has worked with several prominent management Institutes/Universities of Rajasthan. He has also been visiting faculty at IIQM, RAPIM, FMS-UOR, Jaipur.
