Dr. Rohit Pandey

About

Dr. Rohit Pandey is an academician with 15+ years of experience in academics and research and has been serving at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences since July 2025. Earlier, he worked at ATLAS SkillTech University from 2023–2025. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Tech. in Production Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.

Before joining Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, he served at ATLAS SkillTech University, Amity University, Vidya College of Engineering, and ITM University, and also worked as a Production Engineer at Sadhu Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd.

Dr. Pandey has published 57 research papers, including SCI, Scopus, ESCI, and UGC-Indexed Journals, holds 29 Patents, and has edited 04 Scopus/WoS-indexed books. His research areas include Automation and Robotics, Smart Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Mechatronics, and Solar PV Systems.

He is a life member of The Indian Society for Mechanical Engineering, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, SAEINDIA, and Institution of Engineering and Technology. He serves as a reviewer and editor for reputed SCI/Scopus journals and has received Outstanding Reviewer Awards from Elsevier, SAGE Publications, and Springer Nature.

He completed a funded research project worth ₹10.5 lakh, reviewed 120+ research articles, and organized various conferences, FDPs, workshops, and symposiums. He is currently supervising 03 Ph.D. scholars and has guided 08 M.Tech theses and 100+ B.Tech projects. Dr. Pandey has also received the “Best Leadership Award” and “Best Researcher Award” for his academic and research contributions.
