About
I'm broadly interested in investigating the underlying physics of quantum devices, materials and systems. My previous research experience lies in solving a broad class of concrete research problems, ranging from Quantum Transport Theory to Topological Materials.
As a pre-final year student at Jadavpur University, my basic research objective could thus be summarized as the "clever quantum engineering of devices and systems". My primary research interests are theoretical and computational in nature, and are mostly dedicated towards using mathematics and computers as a tool to solve problems in physics.
My interest in the past has mostly been on a Device Physics level. Nonetheless, I am still pursuing research on the condensed matter theory and solid-state device physics fronts.
However, I also intend to connect it to system level work in the future. I strongly believe that emerging quantum devices would be domain-specific hardware which needs to be intelligently connected from a device physics to system physics level. This demands an inter-disciplinary engineering perspective coupled with expertise in microscopic device-level simulations, and can pave the path towards devices and systems of the future.
