About
I am a dedicated science educator and researcher with experience spanning K-12 and higher education. Currently, I teach at Chicago Public Schools and Wheeling University, where I focus on student-centered learning, inquiry-based labs, and technology integration. My research centers on affective dimensions in learning, psychometrics, educational technology, and conceptual understanding in science, with a particular emphasis on chemistry. I employ quantitative methodologies and advanced statistical techniques to develop and evaluate innovative educational tools and strategies. My work has been published in international journals and books, including contributions to "Affective Dimensions in Chemistry Education" and collaborations on the STPD and PedDis projects.
Highlights:
- Ph.D. in Science Education, Florida State University
- Expertise in chemistry education research (CER)
