About
Dr. Pranav Desai is an academician, researcher and entrepreneurship professional with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, consultancy and startup ecosystem development. He is currently serving as Associate Professor (Research Cadre) at the Parul Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Faculty of Management Studies, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
Dr. Desai’s work focuses on entrepreneurship education, innovation management and startup incubation. He brings a balanced perspective that integrates academic theory with practical startup experience, enabling effective mentoring of students and early-stage entrepreneurs.
He has received advanced training and exposure from reputed institutions such as IIM Kozhikode, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and the University of Texas at Austin.
As a founding member of the Start-up and Innovation Center (CSIC), Dr. Desai has contributed to building institutional entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems. He has also completed the Incubation Manager Training Program conducted by the US Consulate General, Mumbai.
With more than 10,000 hours of teaching and mentoring experience across Management, IT, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Desai continues to support research-driven innovation, startup development, and academic excellence.
