About

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Thakur did his BDS and MDS in Periodontics from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow in 2001 & 2004 respectively. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology, Dentistry, UPUMS, Saifai since 2017. Earlier he worked as Sr. Lecturer, Reader and Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Kothiwal Dental College & Research Centre, Moradabad for about 13 and half years. He is actively involved in teaching of under-graduate and post-graduate (MDS) students with patient’s care. His mission is “Save the Natural Teeth”. His area of interest is Periodontal flap surgeries, Regenerative osseous surgeries, Perio-plastic Surgeries, Dental Implants, Esthetic procedures, Periodontal Medicine etc. His total teaching experience is more than 18 years. He has extensive research experience and more than 45 research publication in various national & international journals. He is PG guide and has guided several MDS theses. He is a life member of different professional societies & reviewer of different national and international journals. He is examiner for BDS & MDS (Periodontics) examinations in various Universities of India. He is a paper setter and evaluator of different State Public Service Commissions.
