Dr. Shubham Roy joined the School of Science at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, as an Assistant Researcher in 2025.His research is focused on piezoelectric nanomaterials, polymeric nanocomposites, and imaging-guided therapies for bacterial infection, cancer, and wound healing. Additional interests include pollutant sensing and wastewater remediation using fluorescent and catalytic nanomaterials.To date, Dr. Roy has published over 85 journal articles and 6 book chapters, with a growing citation record (H-index: 23). Several of his works have been featured in high-impact journals such as Adv. Funct. Mater., Small, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, and Coordination Chemistry Reviews with multiple papers recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers . He also serves as a guest editor for themed issues in Molecules, Frontiers in Chemistry, and Frontiers in Chemical Engineering , and is an active reviewer for numerous international journals.
