About
Dr. Hasan Sabah Hasan Al-Nuaimi is a consultant orthodontist currently working as the head of the orthodontic department at Azadi Specialized Dental Center, General Directorate of Hawler, Ministry of Health, Erbil, Iraq. He is also an instructor and clinical supervisor at the Kurdistan Board of Medical Specialists. Dr. Hasan Sabah Hasan had a private practice in his private clinic for more than 15 years in Hawler, New Erbil, Iraq, and is a lecturer and clinical supervisor in many long-term professional orthodontic diploma training courses in different governorates in Iraq and outside Iraq, where he practiced exclusively labial, lingual, and aligner therapy.
Dr. Hasan Sabah Hasan has completed his F. Orth consultant fellowship degree from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (2025); also, he has an MDTFEd Membership in the Faculty of Dental Trainers in orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK (2024), and also, an M. Orth Membership specialty degree from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England, UK (2023). He has completed his Clinical M.Sc. with an Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Orthodontics from the University of Hawler Medical University-College of Dentistry (2013), Iraq. He also gets a professional orthodontic diploma in clinical orthodontics (2016) and an advanced professional diploma in cosmetic dentistry (2017) from Oxford Academy, Belfast, UK. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (B.D.S.) (Honors) from Hawler Medical University-College of Dentistry (2008), Iraq. He is getting his Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy in Orthodontics) at Malaya University, Malaysia (2024).
He has published several scientific studies and clinical reports in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been an invited keynote speaker at many orthodontic congresses. He has held courses and workshops on TAD and MSE-based biomechanics all around the globe to reach high standards in clinical, research, and teaching skills. He is the author of five books in clinical orthodontics with Omniscriptum-Germany and a book publisher, International-UK, and an international peer reviewer. He is the founder of the UDEX expander appliance, MHM bracket system, MH wire system, and MH cortical mini-implants. He is currently the youngest ambassador of the American Association of Orthodontics. He is also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics, World Digital Smile Designer, and the Iraqi Orthodontic Society. He has treated more than 5000 patients with different malocclusions by using fixed, 3D directly printed shape memory/thermoformed clear aligners and removable orthodontic appliances. Expertise in clear aligner design and printing (Thermoformed and 3D direct printed shape memory clear aligners) using (DAD-Digital Aligner Design; Archform, Blusky, Maestro 3D, ClinChick Invisalign software’s) for more than 4 years.
He has been a lecturer, clinical trainer, and examiner in different long-term Comprehensive Orthodontic Diploma courses in Iraq for more than 10 years accredited by the Iraqi Dental Association.
