Dr. Immanuel Selvaraj C is currently working as Professor and Head in Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, VIT School of Agricultural Innovations and Advanced learning (VAIAL), Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. He is specialized in DNA Marker Analysis for Tagging Rice Blast resistance genes. Currently he is guiding 4 PhD Research Scholars and he has guided 4 PhD students. In VIT he is currently working in Medicinal Plants Phytochemistry, Gene expression Studies and synthesis of Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites as a tool for drug delivery
