About
Dr. Tejas M. Dhameliya born in Samdhiyala in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, India. He completed his B. Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from L. M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, Gujarat Technological University in May 2012 and persuaded post-graduation studies M.S. (Pharm.) from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar in June 2014. He has completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Asit K. Chakraborti from NIPER, S.A.S Nagar. He has been awarded with National level Rajnibhai V. Patel PharmInnova Award for the most “Innovative Thesis” in M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) category in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2014-15. His area for research includes development of anti-mycobacterial and anti-cancer agents using green methodologies of synthesis adopting water, nano-particles and ionic liquid; molecular modeling such as 3D-QSAR, docking and quantum chemical calculations or density functional theory. He has worked as Asst. Prof. at L. M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad during Aug 2017 to Jna 2023. He has been currently working as Asst. Prof. since Jan 2023 at Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India.
