About

Babul Hossain is a trained geographer & health demographer and is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the CARES research group at the Luxembourg Institute of Health, Luxembourg. His work primarily explores socioeconomic determinants of health and health disparities, gender intersectionality, mental health, ageing, and the widowhood effect. He has a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications, interdisciplinary collaboration, and translation of scientific evidence into policy reports, briefs, and public engagement outputs in South Asian and European contexts.
