About
About Myself: Skilled synthetic organic chemist having experience in the field of peptide based nanoparticles synthesis and their applications in waste water management and drug delivery. Also, having expertise in heterocycles synthesis (i.e., phenanthro-imidazo-pyridine fused heteropolynuclear framework, polyarylated oxazoles and imidazoles, indenone etc.) via transition metal catalyzed and metal-free (green) pathways. Comprehensive knowledge in the preparation of LMOG (low molecular weight organic gelator) using peptides, spectroscopic measurements such as NMR, IR, UV-Vis, Fluorescence, XRD, morphological study via AFM, FE-SEM and TEM. Offers proficiency in chemical composition, equipment maintenance and testing procedure. Adept at developing new applications and products, generating intellectual properties, and providing technical solutions. Critical thinker who is reliable, responsible, organized and always goes for the extra mile for the job.
Research interests: synthesis of pepetides, synthesis of peptide based polymeric molecules, Examine the self-assembled pattern of peptides in different solvents, Formation of gel matrerials from self-assembled peptides, Application of the gel in waste water treatment and drug delivery.
