I am a Principal Scientist at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (ICAR-IIHR) in Bengaluru, which is a constituent establishment of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). My main area of expertise lies in studying the Plant Physiology and Plant Phenology of fruit trees. Besides this, I am deeply interested in promoting Open Science and advocating for Open Access to publicly funded research. I hold the role of Convenor at Open Access India, a community of practitioners working to advance Open Access, Open Data, and Open Education initiatives across India.
