About
Dr. Swati Dhir is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the PGDM (HRM) program at the International Management Institute, Delhi. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. She holds a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
Dr. Dhir is a certified DiSC trainer accredited by John Wiley & Sons Inc., and holds an engineering degree in Textile Technology from UPTTI, Kanpur.
She has over 40 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and has presented her work at leading national and international conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), British Academy of Management (BAM), and European Academy of Management (EURAM). Her research areas include diversity in organizations, work-related attitudes, employee engagement, performance, and leadership. She has led research projects funded by ICSSR as an independent Project Director. She is also the co-author of the textbook HR Analytics: Theory and Applications, published by Cengage, co-authored with an industry expert. She was awarded the Distinguished Paper Award at the IATM Conference, Pennsylvania.
She is actively engaged in academic leadership and institutional development, contributing to accreditation processes including EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, NBA, and SAQS. She serves as a faculty mentor for the INGO flagship course at IMI Delhi and has been associated with the program for the past ten years. She is currently supervising five FPM scholars.
Dr. Dhir has served as a visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, and Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. She has also delivered keynote addresses at various conferences and workshops.
Her teaching areas encompass HR Analytics and Leadership Excellence, Talent Management, Recruitment and Selection, International HRM, Human Resource Management, Psychometric Testing, Team Building, and Competency Management. She has conducted Management Development Programs (MDPs) for organizations such as Petronet LNG, GAIL, Power Grid, Bank of India, Navitasys, and Uno Minda, among others.
