About
Dr. Jaya Krishna Devanuri did his Ph.D. from Heat Transfer and Thermal Power laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 2008. Subsequently, he joined as a lead CFD engineer at GM Technical center, India. Later, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University till May 2010. After completing his tenure as a postdoctoral research associate, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) - Pilani, Hyderabad campus, India till December 2013. Subsequently, in December 2013, he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. Presently, he is working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He has published 57 international journals, 32 international and 8 national conferences, 3 book chapters, and 3 patents granted. He has completed 5 funded projects in various research areas, viz. hydrogen production, phase change materials, CFD and thermal management of electronics. Presently, he is working on a consultancy project on thermal management of Lithium-ion batteries for two-wheeler applications. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, solar energy utilization, Thermal management of electronic components/Li-ion batteries, green hydrogen and thermal energy storage using phase change materials.
