About

Dr Parthasarathi Ramakrishnan, Head, CSIR-HRDG, New Delhi, formerly served as the founding Head of the Computational Toxicology Facility and Technology Development & Innovation Centre (TDIC) at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow. He has established a dedicated High-Performance Computing facility for toxicology research (TRISHUL) and a translational ecosystem, Technology Development & Innovation Centre (TDIC) at CSIR-IITR. He also led the Centre for Innovation and Translational Research (CITAR)-BIRAC-BIONEST-IITR and DSIR-CRTDH-Environmental Monitoring and Intervention Hub. He earned his PhD from CSIR-CLRI, University of Madras, and has worked as a scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Sandia National Laboratories in the USA.

With 24+ years of experience across multidisciplinary research areas, he has significantly contributed to unraveling important issues in human health, energy, and the environment. He develops green sustainable solutions, predictive toxicology models, and databases. He has over 150 publications with more than 11,400 citations, an h-index of 54, and 8 patents. He has received several awards, including Cray’s HPC Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award, Director’s Fellowship, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Young Associate of the Indian Academy of Sciences. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry & Indian Chemical Society.
