Principal Dr. Prof. Datta. S. Chavan is Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He is a Principal at Universal College of Engineering and Research, Sasewadi, Bhor, Pune 412205 He is recognized Ph.D. Guide in Electrical Engineering. He is a Member Secretary of the College Development Committee (CDC) at Universal College of Engineering and Research, Sasewadi, Bhor, Pune 412205. Recognized Ph.D. Expert Committee member. He received BE and ME (Electrical) (Power systems) with rank certificate from Pune University, India. He received Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences DNYS from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Ayurved Pune. He is a Graduate of Web of Science Academy of Clarivate Analytics USA. He is a top reviewer at Clarivate analytics for SCI indexed and web of science journals. He reviewed more than 125 SCI indexed web of science research journal papers of IEEE transactions, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Springer ans Canadian journal etc. He completed courses of Stanford University, USA, Queensland University of technology, Australia, University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Deakin University Australia, Kings College, London, United Kingdom, e learning College, Linked in Learning, Google Digital Garage and Future Learn. He is presently a Professor, Co-ordinator (R&D cell), Co-ordinator (Ph.D. Program Management) in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune, India. He has total 30 years of industrial and teaching experience. He guided 6 Ph.D. Students, 15 Master’s and 20 Bachelor’s . He visited total 70 industries and R and D institutions. He has 200 publications. 87 papers at conferences in India, France Malaysia, Malta, Canada, Taiwan and Romania and 37 international journal papers. He was invited as a session chairman for IEEE conference in Malaysia and Springer conference in India. He Published 50 Indian patents. He Published 53 Scopus indexed research papers and 52 Web of science indexed research papers. He has 65 book chapters with ISBN number published by IEEE USA and Springer Singapore. He worked as a technical program committee member and designated reviewer for 157 SCI indexed journals and 9 IEEE and ASME international conferences at Bali, Bandung of Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Kuching Sarawak, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Penang of Malaysia, Calicut Kozikode, Kochi, Kerala, and Jaypur Rajasthan and journals . He has research collaboration with researchers of India, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Netherland, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, France, USA, UK, Ukraine, Greece, Germany, Poland, Chile, Singapore, China, Romania, Belgium, Taiwan, Norway, South Africa, Turkey, Canada, Argentina, Algeria North Africa, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Malaysia, Uruguay, Ireland, Iran, and UAE. He is a member of 20 societies which includes IEEE USA, IEEE PES USA, Institution of Engineers, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Society of Lighting Engineers, Computer Society of India, Bamboo Society of India, the Rose Society of Pune, Friends of Empress Garden Pune.
