Dr. R. Anandan is a distinguished academician, researcher, and technologist with over two decades of experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. He currently serves as the Professor in the Department of CSE, and Director of Innovation and Incubation at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai.
He holds advanced degrees including a DSc., Ph.D., and M.S., and is recognized as a Chartered Engineer. His professional journey is marked by significant contributions in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Quantum Computing.
Dr. R. Anandan has mentored 16 Ph.D. scholars and currently guides several research candidates. He has published numerous patents, authored international books and journals, and served as an editorial board member and technical committee member in reputed global conferences and publications.
