About
My research to date has been focused on the physical/chemical properties of diamond and related materials. Diamond surface science is an emerging area of research, which is my current focus. Termination of diamond surface with different functional groups is very significant as it modifies the surface electronic properties. The long-term objective of this research is to realize stable, shallow NV¯ centers in diamond by proper surface termination for nanoscale magnetic sensing applications.
