About

I was Born on October 18, 1966 at Ferozepur Jhirka in the Haryana state of India. Graduated from Hindu College, Sonipat of M.D. University, Rohtak. I did Master, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra Haryana, India and I am serving as a regular Faculty at the same place since August 31, 1991. Became Full Professor in September 2008 and Senior Professor in September 2018.
My Research Interests are in the areas of Poromechanics, Theoretical Seismology, Waves and Vibrations in Piezoelectric Materials, Differential Equations and Mathematical Modelling.
I have worked at the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (KUK) in different roles: Dean Academic Affairs, KUK; Dean, Faculty of Sciences, KUK; Chairman (4 times), Department of Mathematics; Dean, Students Welfare (2 times), KUK; Programme Coordinator, Youth Red Cross (2 times), KUK; Nodal Officer, Students Grievances Redressal Cell, Employees' Grievances Redressal Committee; Nodal Officer, National Education Policy 2020, KUK; Vice-Chairman, Cultural Council, KUK; External Expert on Departmental Research Committees, Board of Studies, Internal Quality Assessment Cells, Academic Audit Boards, Governing Bodies of Colleges of many universities in India.

Published more than 120 research papers in International Journals, delivered more than 150 talks at National and International fora.
