About

My research interests focus on the design and development of advanced ion-exchange membranes and proceses for energy and environmental applications. I am particularly interested in the synthesis and optimization of functional polymeric membranes, including cation and anion exchange systems, for processes such as electrodialysis and redox flow batteries. My work integrates experimental approaches with data-driven techniques, especially machine learning, to tailor membrane composition, enhance ion transport properties, and improve overall performance. I also explore structure–property relationships to understand how molecular architecture influences conductivity, selectivity, and stability. Additionally, I am interested in scaling up membrane fabrication and evaluating long-term chemical and mechanical stability under harsh operating conditions, aiming to develop efficient and durable materials for sustainable desalination and energy storage technologies.
