Dr. Rupesh K. Gautam is currently working as Professor, Centre for Pharmacology at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. He did his Ph.D. from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, JNU, Jodhpur, India; M. Pharm in Pharmacology from Rajasthan University of Health Science, Jaipur and B. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishvidyalaya, Bhopal. He is having more than 16.5 years of teaching and research experience. He is featured in the list of World’s top 2% scientist -2025 released by Elsevier-Stanford University. He is having more then 10,000 citation both in Scopus and Google scholar. More than ninty research and review articles are in his credit in various journals of repute. He also published twelve books and more than fifty book chapters with Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Scivener, Bentham, NOVA etc. He published four patents and registered fourty two copyrights. He has supervised twenty one M. Pharm scholars. He received grants from various govt. agencies/associations for conducting FDP/seminars/conferences/workshops. He has attended and organized several International and National seminar, conferences and workshops as a team member and organizing secretary/coordinator.
Dr. Gautam has scripted and recorded e-content for NME-ICT Phase-II (a project of MHRD, Govt. of India) on five topics of B. Pharm syllabus at Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC), Dr. H. S. Central University, Sagar (M.P.) and these are available on SWAYAMPRABHA channels. He has been a Guest Editor of Phytomedicine (Elsevier)
Current Pharmaceutical Design (Bentham), Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews (Elsevier)
Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine (Hindawi) and BioMed Research International (Hindawi). He served as Chief Editor of Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Research; Associate Editor of Research Journal of Pharmacy and Technology (Scopus indexed, UGC approved); Frontiers in Pain Research - Pharmacological Treatment of Pain and Assistant Editor of Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research. He is an editorial board member and reviewer of various journals of repute. He was Secretary, Haryana state branch of the Society of Pharmaceutical, Education and Research from 2020-22. He is Member, Executive Committee and Coordinator Haryana for Western Regional Centre of Association of Community Pharmacist of India. He is a life member of APTI, IPC (Indian Pharmacological Society), SPER & a registered pharmacist at Rajasthan Pharmacy Council, Rajasthan.
