About
Clinician-scientist with a strong academic and research background in operative dentistry, endodontics, and dental tissue engineering. Earned a BDS (2009) from KGF College of Dental Sciences, MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (2014) from Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College, and a PhD (2019) in Dental Tissue Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan.
Previously served as Senior Lecturer at KLE Institute of Dental Sciences, Bengaluru, and later as a faculty member at Tohoku University for over four years, where I led translational research in bone tissue engineering using GMP-compliant protocols at the Cell Processing Center.
Possess specialized expertise in molecular and cellular approaches to endodontic pathologies, including therapeutic strategies for refractory apical periodontitis. Actively involved in supervising undergraduate and graduate research, with a strong publication record in high-impact journals and frequent presentations at international and national conferences.
