Dr. Chandrakant Bonde is a distinguished pharmaceutical scientist, currently serving as Principal at SSR College of Pharmacy in Silvassa. Holding an M.Pharm, Ph.D., and MBA, he specializes in pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, focusing on the design and development of new chemical entities (including anti‑HIV and antitubercular agents), computer‑aided drug design, stability‑indicating LC‑MS methods, analytical and bio‑analytical methods, and impurity synthesis . Throughout his career, Dr. Bonde has contributed extensively to research, with over 75 publications (55 international and 20 national), multiple presentations, funded and consultancy projects, and fellowships such as a BOYSCAST research fellowship from DST and the Most Cited Research Article award from Elsevier . Additionally, he holds the position of President of the UT DNH & DD branch of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) .
