About

I am a PhD candidate in the Immunology & Microbial Pathogenesis program at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Since 2023, I have been conducting research in Dr. Theresa Lu’s laboratory at the Hospital for Special Surgery Institute for Biological Sciences, where I study how the phenotype of fibroblastic reticular cells (FRCs) changes in response to photosensitive reactions in lupus, using a mouse model of imiquimod-induced lupus. My research aims to uncover the role of FRCs in autoimmune pathogenesis and immune dysregulation in lupus.

Prior to my PhD, I earned a Master’s degree from Harvard Medical School, where I analyzed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and single-cell B cell receptor sequencing (scBCR-seq) data from patients with Activated PI3K Delta Syndrome (APDS) and healthy volunteers. My work focused on identifying the stage of B cell development at which peripheral tolerance is broken, contributing to our understanding of immune tolerance mechanisms in primary immunodeficiencies.
