I am Komal Rahul Pardeshi, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering at Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, with nearly two decades of experience in academia and research. My career journey began in the software industry before transitioning into higher education, where I have since dedicated myself to teaching, mentoring, and advancing research in emerging technologies.
My academic contributions span Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Machine Learning, with publications in Scopus, IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and UGC-approved journals. I am also a co-author of the book chapter “Fundamentals of Blockchain and Federated Learning” published by Taylor & Francis (2025). Beyond research, I have secured grants for impactful projects such as an IoT-based Smart Garbage Management System for Solapur City.
Recognized with the Savitribai Phule Excellence Award (2022) and the Red Hat Academy Educator Badge (2024), I actively contribute to the academic community as a reviewer, keynote speaker, and hackathon coordinator. My leadership roles include serving as SPOC for Smart India Hackathon.
Passionate about continuous learning, I have completed numerous certifications and FDPs in AI, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Project Management, ensuring that my teaching and research remain aligned with global technological advancements
