About
I am an ichthyologist working on estuarine and marine fishes, with a focus on photographic documentation, taxonomy, and species checklists. My research also examines elasmobranchs, especially sharks and rays, using local ecological knowledge (LEK) to understand their occurrence and conservation. Geographic focus: the Lower Ganga and Sundarbans, with broader interests in tropical and subtropical estuaries.
