About
Dr. P. Senthil Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM University), Tiruchirappalli Campus, India. He is also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Certified) under the International Postdoctoral Fellow Program at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan.
He holds a Ph.D., M.E., and B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. With over eighteen years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, he has made significant contributions to higher education through teaching, curriculum development, research supervision, accreditation activities, and academic leadership.
His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Firewall Systems, Computer Networks, Explainable AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Human–Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, and Social Network Analysis. He has published 28 international journal articles, 30 conference papers, one authored book, two book chapters, and holds five patents. His research focuses on AI-driven cybersecurity, intelligent firewall technologies, adaptive network security, federated learning, and trustworthy AI.
Dr. Senthil Kumar is an active reviewer and editor for international journals and conferences and is a member of several professional organizations, including ISTE, the Institution of Engineers (India) (Fellow), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He is committed to advancing research, fostering innovation, mentoring students, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in emerging areas of computing.
