About
Dr. D. Arumuga Perumal is currently working as Asst Professor at Department of Mechanical Engg, NIT Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangalore. He previously worked as Professor at School of Mechaical Engineering, Noorul Islam University, Kanyakumari, India. Previously, He worked as an Assistant Professor (senior), Associate Professor at Thermal & Automotive Division, School of Mechanical & Building Sciences, VIT University (Vellore Campus), Tamilnadu, India. He received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tamilnadu and the M.E. degree in Thermal Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He received his Ph.D degree in the area of Lattice Boltzmann Method for fluid flows from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. Dr. Perumal has about 125 research publications in peer reviewed international journals, Books and conferences. His current research interests are predominantly focused on the simulation of flows using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) and gaseous microflows (MEMS).
