About
Since 2020, I have been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where I focused on synthesizing bi-metallic layered double hydroxide nanosheets (Ni-V and Co-Mn LDH) for supercapacitor applications. I possess expertise in various nanomaterial synthesis techniques, including hydrothermal, electrodeposition, electrospinning, wet spinning, and co-precipitation methods. Additionally, I am well-versed in the electrochemical characterization of nanomaterials using techniques such as cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD). My research interests center around the synthesis of nanomaterials for energy storage, packaging, sensing, wastewater treatment, and other electrochemical applications.
