About
Dr. P. Uma Maheshwera Reddy completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani in 2015. He received his M.Tech. from VTU, Karnataka, in 2004, securing the University First Rank and Gold Medal, and his B.Tech. from SKU, Andhra Pradesh, in 2000. With over 20 years of teaching and research experience, he joined CVR College of Engineering in 2015 as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He served as Professor-in-Charge of the Library for over two years and has been the Associate Dean Research since 2023, focusing on promoting high-quality academic research. He has presented his research at International Conferences in the USA, Vietnam, Singapore, and the UAE, and published over 50 SCIE and Scopus-indexed articles with publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, SAGE, ASME, Wiley, IEEE, and AIP. He also holds three Intellectual Property Rights. He served as Managing Guest Editor for International Conference Proceedings published by Elsevier and AIP Publishing and is currently the Associate Editor for the CVR Journal of Science and Technology, an open-access journal. As an active reviewer, he contributes to leading journals from publishers including IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, SAGE, ACS, and ASME. His contributions to research and academia have led to international travel grants from DST, UGC, CSIR, and INSA, along with an Undergraduate Research Project Grant of ₹30,000 from the Institution of Engineers (India). In addition, he has contributed as a resource person for Faculty Development Programs and International Conferences, served on technical committees for several conferences, and chaired technical sessions. Also, he has played a key role in organizing three editions of the International Conference on Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing Technology (ICE3MT) in 2020, 2022, and 2024, serving as the convener.
