Dr. Mushtaq A. Dar is an associate professor at the Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His research interests are advanced functional nanomaterials for energy storage, electrochemical sensors, biosensors, corrosion protection, and biomedical applications. His research work involves the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanostructured materials such as graphene-based composites, metal oxides, ceramic nanocomposites, and two-dimensional materials for sustainable energy and healthcare technology.
Dr. Dar has published more than 85 peer-reviewed papers in top international journals and serves as a reviewer and guest editor for several high-impact journals. His research interests include lithium- and sodium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, nanocomposites, electrochemical energy storage, biosensing, biomaterials, surface engineering, and multifunctional coatings. He actively collaborates interdisciplinarily to link materials science, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering to develop novel solutions for new technological challenges.
