About

Kaushalendra Kumar is Assistant Professor of Public Health and Mortality Studies at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India. He is a demographer and applied micro-economist by training with research interests in micro-econometric analysis of issues in economic development and health economics. His research work is focused on identifying the determinants of health and human capital, and its effect on labour productivity and economic development in developing countries. Dr. Kumar also has experience of writing and publishing research papers in reputed peer-reviewed international journals including, The Lancet Global Health, Studies in Family Planning and Population, Social Science and Medicine, and EClinicalMedicine.
