About

Director of the Board of Constituents and University Development (BCUD) , Head of Department of Student Welfare and a Professor of Management at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). I have made significant contributions to higher education and serve as a permanent member of the Academic Council and the Dean’s Council. I have also served on the Board of Management, Board of Studies, and as Chairman of the Academic Audit Committee at Symbiosis. Additionally, I have served as an approved Research Guide under the Faculty of Management at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), successfully guiding PhD students. I have published research papers, book chapters, and a book.
I hold a Doctorate from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) with a PhD in the Application of the Competency Modelling Approach with Special Reference to Select Private Sector Organizations.
With over 25 years of experience, my foundation of international work exposure comes from my role as a Lecturer in the Department of Business Studies at Bahrain Training Institute (Kingdom of Bahrain). This experience has allowed me to gather international exposure in Bahrain, Ireland, and Kenya. My major areas of scholarly interest and expertise lie in Human Resource Management and Strategic Management, enabling me to effectively formulate strategic plans.
Beyond the academic realm, I am a former first-class cricketer in India and a member of the Indian Cricketers’ Association, affiliated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Driven by a deep passion for cricket, I hold a position as a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee for the Maharashtra Cricket Association. Additionally, I bring experience from my previous role on the Senior Selection Committee, responsible for the Ranji Trophy and Under 23 category for the Maharashtra Cricket Association.
I am also actively engaged in event operation and management, leveraging my skillset in the business of cricket. My experience as an Event Coordinator for various cricket matches, including liaising with international teams, showcases my passion for sports and sports management.
