Dr. Navin Sharma is an Assistant Professor of English at Amity Institute of English Studies and Research (AIESR), Amity University Jharkhand. He has done his PhD from IIT Patna and his doctoral thesis is titled Feminist Jurisprudence vis-à-vis Domestic Violence in Select Law Films in India (1996–2022). His research critically examines the intersection of law and film as cultural discourses that shape the understanding of gender-based violence. He has published his work in Scopus-indexed journals, including those ranked in Q1 and Q2.
