About
Dr B.R. Manjunatha is a Professor, Geology Section, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Kumaraswamy layout, Bengaluru -560111, India. He (https://www.dsce.edu.in/images/Civil/faculty/DrManjunatha.pdf) was born on 30th October 1962. He is basically a geologist, working in the field of geochemistry and applications of radioisotopes to understand the present and past natural processes, and anthropogenic impacts on the earth atmosphere-ocean system along south-western India since 1985. He had PDF experiences at Bedford Institute of Oceanography Canada (1996-97) and Commonwealth Fellow at UEA, UK (2005-06), recipient of Sir CV Raman Award by Government of Karnataka (2001), honourable mention of the Sociological Abstract Discovery Prize by Pro-Quest Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, USA (2007), Best Teacher award in Science & Technology, Mangalore University (2016). He has supervised 12 Ph.D. students, worked on eight research projects and published about 70 research papers in international journals and books. Currently four PhD students are working with him.
