Dr. Hari Mohan Saxena is a Professor of Immunology and was earlier the Head of the Veterinary Microbiology Department at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, India. He has served as Counsellor (S&T) in the Embassy of India, Moscow. He is a Senior Expert of the Asia Pacific CEO Association Worldwide. Dr. Saxena is a Member of the Expert Panel on Vaccines of the European Society for Translational Medicine, a Fellow of the World Innovation Foundation, the National Academy of Veterinary Sciences and the Indian Society for Veterinary Immunology and Biotechnology (ISVIB). He has won five Gold Medals and one Silver Medal in research. He had been a Member of the Steering Committee of the Science Advisory Board, USA and the President of ISVIB. Dr. Saxena is a Review Editor of Frontiers in Microbiology and Immunology, a Member of Advisory Board of WebMedCentral and a Member of Editorial Board of WebMedCentral Plus, an Editor of the Journal of Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology Research, a Regional Editor of the International Journal of Animal and Veterinary Advances and Editorial Consultant to the Indian Journal of Veterinary Research. He is the Principal Investigator of three research projects and has obtained an international patent for his innovations in immunodiagnosis of infectious diseases. His book on immunological and molecular techniques for diagnosis of infectious diseases was published by Verlag DM, Germany.
