About
I’m a biochemistry researcher who enjoys working at the intersection of molecular biology and cell culture, especially using fish cell lines to explore questions in toxicology, virology, and gene expression. I spend a lot of my time in the lab building and working with in vitro models, expressing recombinant proteins, and figuring out how cells respond to different environmental and biological stresses.
Right now, I work as a researcher at Nord University, where I’m involved in applied biotechnology and cell-based research. I’m especially curious about how in vitro systems can be used to improve safety assessment and reduce reliance on animal testing.
