About

Dr. Kauser Ahmed P received his B. Sc. Degree in computer science from the University of Madras, Chennai; M.Sc. Degree in computer science from Vellore Institute Technology, Vellore, India; M.Tech degree in information technology with specialization in networking from VIT, Vellore, India; and Ph.D. in computer science from VIT, Vellore, India entitled “Information Retrieval from Databases using Rough Set and Bio-inspired Computing”. Presently he is an Assistant Professor Senior in the school of computing sciences and engineering, VIT, Vellore, India, where he teaches a variety of university courses in Computer Science, such as Green Computing, Foundations of Data Science, Soft Computing, Internet, and Web Programming and Mobile Computing. Dr. Kauser Ahmed has served in various prestigious positions as a Coordinator, School Time Table Committee, Exam Coordinator, Member of Convocation Team, Member of University Day Committee, and Coordinator VITAA Day. He has published 25+ peer-reviewed research articles including SCI; Scopus indexed International Journals, Conference Papers, and Book chapters. He received a research award for publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals from VIT. He is associated with many professional bodies like CSI, ISTE, IACSIT, CSTA, IEEE, and IAENG. He is a reviewer of many international conferences and journals sponsored by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, IACSIT, IGI Global, and IAENG. His current research interests include soft computing, big data analytics, computational intelligence, bio-inspired computing, and bioinformatics.
