About
I am a Principal Scientist at CSIR–IICB, Kolkata, working on the molecular mechanisms of retinal diseases with a focus on epigenetics, metabolic memory, and therapeutic innovation. My lab integrates zebrafish models, CRISPR editing, omics technologies, and nanomedicine to decode retinal remodeling and identify early biomarkers in diabetic retinopathy and retinal cancers. I have extensive expertise in proteomics, metabolomics, and drug delivery systems, with contributions to high-impact publications and translational research. I actively mentor students and welcome collaborations to advance retinal biology into precision therapies.
