I am currently working as a Research Scientist at CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute, Bhopal, India since May 2016 I am a recipient of Inspire Faculty (2015) and Research Scientist (2022) awards for Independent Researcher from DST and SERB Govt. of India respectively, and the Senior Research Fellowship award from CSIR, India in 2010. I have published more than 80 highly cited research articles and 02 US patents. My current research interest is mainly in synthesizing carbon nanomaterials like Graphene, CNTs, carbon fibers, activated carbon, porous carbon (carbon foam), metal foam, and carbon-carbon composites for energy storage, EMI shielding, thermal management, and water purifications. My main interests are fabricating carbon composite foams from template route, single-layer graphene from RTPCVD, and their applications in various fields.
