About
I am a passionate and dedicated researcher with a strong background in biochemistry and a growing expertise across several interconnected scientific fields. My journey began with a deep interest in the chemical processes that sustain life, which led me to explore the molecular foundations of both human and microbial systems.
Over time, I developed a particular focus on microbial biochemistry, studying how microorganisms’ function at the molecular level and adapt to diverse environments. This interest naturally progressed into the critical field of antimicrobial resistance—a pressing global health issue. I have devoted much of my work to understanding the molecular mechanisms behind resistance and developing strategies to combat it.
My research has also taken me into the areas of protein purification and proteomics, where I have worked on isolating key proteins and analysing their structure and function. This experience led to further work in gene cloning and expression, enabling me to manipulate DNA in the lab and investigate how specific genes contribute to cellular processes. These skills have been instrumental in uncovering the roles of proteins in various biological pathways and disease mechanisms.
More recently, I have begun exploring the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on human and environmental health. This has expanded the scope of my research to include public health and environmental toxicology, bridging molecular science with broader societal challenges.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have remained committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and contributing meaningful insights to the scientific community. My ultimate goal is to apply this knowledge to real-world challenges and support advancements in medicine, biotechnology, and environmental health.
